Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays are quickly becoming adopted by a large percentage of the dental industry. A digital x-ray allows the dentist to take an image of the tooth or teeth and put it into an imaging program. Within this imaging program, there are a number of tools that will allow the dentist to take a very close look at the teeth and surrounding structures with amazing accuracy. As a benefit to the patient, the digital x-ray also provides nearly 90% less radiation than a standard x-ray. This is due to the fact that the digital version of the x-ray is much more sensitive to this radiation and has been specifically designed with the patient in mind.
Intra Oral Camera
You can see what we see!
The intraoral camera allows you to have an active part in your dental treatment by letting you see inside your mouth. With a clear understanding of your dental conditions, you will be able to make treatment decisions with confidence. The intraoral camera allows us to see problems such as worn or broken fillings, cracked teeth, plaque deposits, and excessive wear.
Biolase Laser
Laser Dentistry is an amazingly effective alternative to the dental drill. Our laser is capable of working on both hard and soft tissues (teeth, gums and other soft tissue) for dental restoration. For most procedures there is no need for needles and shots. Please know that large areas of decay cannot be comfortably removed without doing some numbing. The Biolase laser can significantly increase your comfort in the dental chair. Please know that the Biolase laser is not used to remove old silver mercury amalgam fillings or old crowns.
